Boat along one of the 2 Chain-of Lakes and enjoy a day-long lake experience. Boat rentals are available along with plenty of opportunities for camping near the water's edge. 

 


 

Cary Lake, Batavia/Bethel Twp 42 acres

  • Lake bottom is marl, organic & sand
  • Public access is available on Cary Lake Dr. and has parking and toilets. Ramp is hard-surfaced and launching larger boats may be difficult.
  • Best fishing - Bluegill & largemouth bass
  • Depths up to 38 feet

Gilead Lake, Gilead Twp 128 acres

  • Lake bottom is gravel, marl, organic and sand
  • Public access is available off Booth Rd and has parking and toilets. Ramp is hard-surfaced and launching larger boats may difficult.

  • Depths up to 49 feet

  • Best fishing - Bluegill, smallmouth bass & walleye
  • Depths up to 92 feet
