Over 150 miles of hiking trails and wilderness offer hikers a truly memorable and diverse experience.  Whether you're an avid hiker or just looking for an afternoon walk, there are trails to fit everyone's experience and ability.

Some of the finest places along the I-69 Recreational Heritage Route can be accessed through hiking trails in Branch and Calhoun counties.  View soaring eagles, explore scenic lake trails, or walk through giant stands of trees.  The area is home to the Sand Hill Crane, 155 nesting birds and xxx species of wildlife.

Me thinks that the moment my legs begin to move,

my thoughts begin to flow.

~Henry David Thoreau
